The InvitationSep 01, 2010
A sequel to last year's "Love Letters." This time Natasha is the star as she tries to come up with the perfect wedding invitation. We burned this animation onto DVD's and sent it out as our actual wedding invitation. It took nine months to complete, and was produced entirely as part of a group project class at the Art Institute of California - San Francisco where I'm an instructor of animation. A big thanks to all my students, who did an incredible job (you guys rock!), and to my fellow faculty and staff who've been so supportive. *Note - To everyone who posted about the date of our wedding: it was on the 30th of June, NOT the 13th. It just looks like thirteenth because of the small size of the video. Oh, and the wedding was this past summer, not the summer of '07. (Not that we wouldn't have LOVED all you YouTubers there.)
Jeff & Erin's EPIC Wedding Trailer: Save the DateSep 01, 2010
We created this EPIC wedding trailer as our Save-the-Date. It's a parody of action movie trailers, with every cliche we could think of. Sorry for the terrible acting. For the full effect, turn up the sound... way up! Enjoy! PS We thought most of the music clips would be instantly recognizeable, but a lot of people have been asking about them, so here they are in order of appearance: 0:04 - Twentieth Century-Fox Fanfare by Alfred Newman 0:24 - Battle Without Honor or Humanity by Tomoyasu Hotei 0:58 - About Love by David Joseph Wesley 1:15 - You Sexy Thing by Hot Chocolate 1:28 - Theme from "Mission: Impossible" by Adam Clayton & Larry Mullen 1:35 - Lucky by Jason Mraz (feat. Colbie Caillat) 1:55 - The Raider's March (from "Indiana Jones") by John Williams 2:20 - Requiem for a Tower ("Lux Aeterna" remake) by Clint Mansell re-arranged by Simone Benyacar, Dane Nielsen, and Veigar Margeirsson 3:37 - Main Title Theme from "The Matrix" by Don Davis 3:56 - Theme from "Terminator" by Brad Fiedel

Not your average Wedding InvitationAug 27, 2010
Yeah, so I don't know if you've ever seen one... but most video wedding invitations are massive travesties that make a person cringe so hard that they bleed. My fiance Becca and I are getting married this December. With the past failures of humanity in mind, we made our own video wedding invitationLess«
